Worker compensation laws and processes can be confusing when a worker sustains an injury in the workplace. It can be even more so when managing an employee with a personal injury or illness.
This workshop will provide a better understanding of the processes and your rights as an employer in managing employees’ injuries or illnesses. Participants will gain a better understanding of how to manage a WorkCover claim effectively, restricted duties and facilitate the employee returning to work, where possible.
In addition, you will better understand your obligations to an employee who has a personal injury/illness that is not as a result of the workplace.
