First Aid: CPR, Full Course or 3-year Recertification

As per Work Health & Safety Queensland’s First Aid Code of Practice 2004, First Aid personnel must have a current Senior First Aid qualification to comply with the First Aid Code of Practice. This qualification is valid for three years from the date of issue.

Please note: CPR training is a component of the Senior First Aid training and must be renewed yearly.

The ability to apply immediate First Aid is an important aspect in reacting quickly to workplace injuries. It can reduce the impact and long-term effects of an injury, and may prevent the loss of life.

Target Audience: People who have been nominated as the businesses First Aider or have previously completed Senior First Aid and are required to recertify every 3 years.
