Full Job Description

The Brisbane Produce Market is Queensland’s only central fruit and vegetable market, and the state’s most important centre for the wholesale marketing and distribution of fresh fruit and vegetables. It records an annual trade in excess of 700 million kilograms of produce valued at more than $2 billion.

As a representative of these employers, Brismark is currently searching for Storeperson/Order Pickers for Wholesale businesses located in the Brisbane Markets.

These roles commence work between Midnight and 2am Monday to Friday, you may also be required to work Sundays.

General duties will include picking orders in the warehouse/selling floors, moving stock and loading stock onto trucks for despatch with the forklift.

This is an active role in a fast paced work environment that will require ‘hands-on’ labouring activities.

You need to be fit and healthy, be able to work autonomously and get the job done. A valid forklift licence is preferred but not necessary for all roles.

Salary: $24.00 – $30.00 per hour
