Regional tours

Brismark’s grower liaison program includes regular regional visits to areas such as Bowen, Bundaberg, the Lockyer Valley, Cairns and Northern NSW regions.

In April, Brismark’s Industry Liaison Officer Vanessa Kennedy visited Rollingstone (north of Townsvile), the Burdekin and Bowen regions to meet with growers and association members, and to attend the Bowen District Growers Association annual gala dinner.

It is the third visit to the region in as many years and has forged stronger relationships with local growers and the association’s growers.

In May there was a return to North Queensland with visits to Tully and Mareeba based growers.

Further trips are being organised for later this year to Northern NSW, Sunshine Coast and Central Burnett and the Bundaberg region.
